Your new smart technology needs professionally looking after. At Smart & Secure Business, we offer two levels of CCTV and smart alarm servicing packages:

Our standard package provides the following:

  • Smart alarms - Annual system servicing including: free battery replacements (if required), firmware updates, walk tests of all detectors, signal level checks, general health check and service log book updated. Having this done does mean you can declare you have a serviced alarm system on your insurance.
  • Smart HD CCTV Annual system servicing including: optical camera lens cleaning and Spiderex insect treatment on all cameras (cameras need cleaning annually), system firmware updates, camera firmware updates, lens alignment if required, adjusting of intrusion / line crossing zones if applicable.
  • Smart alarms and HD CCTV Unlimited remote assistance from our servicing centre: over 95% of issues / queries can be resolved quickly and efficiently without even needing to visit the property. This cover also includes remote adjustment of CCTV settings or alert zones, remote adjustment of alarm system settings, remote fault diagnosis and unlimited ‘Team viewer’ remote support sessions.
  • Smart alarms and HD CCTV Two physical call outs per year: if an issue cannot be resolved via our remote support software.
  • Smart alarms and HD CCTV Firmware updates automatically sent out to your NVR / cameras / or smart alarm panel, as soon as they have passed internal testing. This is very important as our manufacturers regularly improve the features and functionality of their systems and keeping up to date with the latest firmware version means you won’t get left behind. Important security updates are also rolled out as part of the new firmware.

Our premium package includes the above plus these additional benefits:

  • Unlimited call outs to resolve any issues that cannot be dealt with remotely.
  • Unlimited replacement parts cover – any faulty parts out of warranty will be replaced free of charge; this includes labour and parts.

Our highly skilled and fully trained staff are also able to carry out a wide range of repairs and equipment servicing including security alarm repairs, CCTV repairs and full security system servicing.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How much does your servicing cost?

    Servicing costs depend on the size of the security system fitted and the amount of annual maintenance required. However standard security system servicing including everything mentioned starts from £12.00 per month.   • How do I pay for my servicing package?

    If you wish to pay monthly, we take this payment via a recurring credit or debit card payment in much the same way as you pay for other services like Netflix® and Amazon®. This is done securely via our payment processing partner Stripe®. Alternatively, you can pay your servicing fee annually upfront, and the price is exactly the same.

  • I’ve had a new credit or debit card, how do I update the details?

    To update your new credit or debit card details, we do need to clear account security first. Please call us on 0333 050 8175.

  • How long does an annual service take?

    This all depends on the size of the system installed and can vary. However for a standard alarm system service, we would expect to take approximately 45 minutes. For an alarm and CCTV system service, this could take up to 2 hours.

  • Is there a minimum contract period?

    Unlike many of our competitors we do not tie you in to a long maintenance contract as we know situations can change. You can freely change or amend your service contract at any point with 30 days notice.
